Called based on the writeup in Lonely Planet, was pleasantly surprised. We didn't take advantage of the beach access because the weather was not ideal. Some cabins are being erected in front of the existing hotel, so it looks like not all the rooms will be ocean view any longer. Very clean, but you will need to travel for restaurants, about 6 miles to Yachats.

What can we say...so sad to be losing the "SeeVue" after these past 7 years we've been coming there. One of our favorite rooms was the :Cottage" but we've stayed in other units. All were equally special. Great views from each one & oh so clean. We had good beach access as we love to beachcomb. Thanks to our great hosts for making us feel so special. We'll miss you!! B. & J. This is actually our second trip to the See Vue and I felt compelled to write a review, which I normally don't. This is our absolute favorite place to go and stay! The views from the rooms are magnificent, the rooms charming and comfortable. The owners, Julie and Taylor, who we've chatted with, are so welcoming and work so hard to keep their guests comfortable and are so very accomodating to our every needs. The new beach access from the motel is awesome too! My kids and I look forward to coming here every year. Keep up the great work! We look forward to seeing you next year!

We had the most wonder time. The rooms were clean. The beach access was directly from the property.
There was an unobstructed ocean view from the big picture window. I noticed that the windows were very clean.
The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
I really enjoyed their brand of coffee.
I loved the two big comfy chairs in from of the window.
I slept very well and and felt very safe.
Great beds.
