The front desk folk are really friendly and make sure you have everything you need. As others have mentioned, the pet rooms are really well-kept up and the staff provide a doggie care package with sheets and towels. The ocean views are amazing! We had a great time with our dog (who absolutely loved the beach and the short walk to and from it). Yachats is a small, friendly town and there are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. There is also a nice small botanical garden across the street. Lovely stay - thanks for such great hospitality!

Nice rooms, better than Adobe, not as expensive as the Overleaf Spa next door.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The restaurants in Yachats were a short 10-15 min walk away. We like the added extras of the movie rental and cheese boards from reception along with the little kitchen area in our room. We had a pleasant stay which would have only been better if there hadn't been a lot of sea fog and we could have seen more of what would have been a great view.

Often times, pet rooms seem to be second class. Not at the Fireside. The view from the rooms is fantastic. In the winter, it's a great place to watch the waves crashing on the rocks. Since you're right on the 804 trail, it's a short walk to a beach that stretches all the way north to Waldport. It's a great beach for beach-loving dogs to run on. You can also follow the trail to the south and walk through some residential areas. The rooms are fairly spacious and well maintained.
