“Astonishing Value Amidst a Sea of So-So's”

Wow! This has to be one of the best values in lodging we have experienced in several years! From the expanded 'continental breakfast' to the warm cookies and milk in the evening, to the jet whirlpool bathtub... tremendous value for the price. Very convenient location with quick easy access to interstate 5 (no freeway noise detected). The continental breakfast was better than the sit-down breakfast we had the day before at a Red Lion Inn (and the bill was $30.00 cheaper than Red Lion). The room was pleasantly larger than average, the bed comfort was average. We will definitely go back if travel takes us this way again.

Room Tip: Choose a bottom floor room with a king bed and whirl pool bath if available.

This is a well run clean hotel. It is great value for the money, great breakfast, highly recommend this hotel. Very good location for activities in Portland and points south.

“close to places”

The hotel was close to Highway 5 and to shopping centers. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast place was a small place at the Lobby. Food nothing extraordinary. Internet did not work on 3rd floor on the north side. That was our experience at the hotel.

Room Tip: If you want wi fi you better ask front desk as you are checking up.

This motel is comfortable, clean, great beds and very reasonably priced...very nice find. Oh, and the evening cookies and milk : )

Room Tip: rooms on the east are quieter and away from I-5

“The front desk staff is excellent, rooms? not so much”

We took a chance on "pet friendly" even though we have allergies to pets. The housekeeping left much to be desired, whereas Holiday Inn, who is also pet-friendly, did a much better job. We had no problems there. Seemed La Quinta uses carpet deodorizer in the rooms and it felt like a cover up (for pets odors???). Not clean smelling. Upon arriving, we decided not to stay. The front desk was very understanding. There were many dogs there and happy overnighters - it just wasn't for us.
