“Nice stay in Tillamook”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

The Ashley Inn in Tillamook is a very nice hotel that I would choose again. The beds were very comfortable (my main interest). Instead of a pillow top they had a memory foam top -loved it. The room itself was very clean. It was great having a DVD player and a ton of free DVD options to choose from. They did have a breakfast but we rarely make it up early enough for those.

Room Tip: If you enjoy TV, know that some rooms have flat screens and some have older TVs.

“Lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

We had a great room, very clean, very comfortable bed. The price was reasonable. The breakfast was more than usually offered at this price range. The location was good. The staff very helpful. The recommendation for dinner was very nice and exactly as described. We would stay here again.

“Good place to stay in Tillamook”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011 via mobile

Cleanest place to stay in Tillamook. Friendly staff, very basic clean rooms. There are evidently some decent B&B's around, but this is a decent hotel at a decent price.

“DO YOU WANT TO HEAR BARKING DOGS?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 October 2011

We stayed here the night of October 18, 2011. After dinner, we heard barking dogs. Our room was in the rear of this hotel as they claimed it was quiet--REALLY? The barking started around 7PM and lasted until the dogs went to sleep around 10 PM. At 5 AM, guess what? The dogs were awake and barking their heads off. The hotel is fully aware of this. HOTEL OWNER: Here's how you put an end to this: #1 Set up a video camera pointed at these barking dogs. Most cameras have a time of day and date stamp. Record the night and morning barking for one or two weeks. That will show the extent of the issue. Then you file a complaint with the Town. A hearing would be scheduled and the dog owners must appear. During the hearing, you play back your video recordings. The Judge will have no choice but to find them guilty and fine them $$$. If they allow the barking to continue after this hearing, you repeat the above process. Trust me, it works and the barking will end. It's your PAYING GUESTS who are being hurt by this barking. SO TAKE ACTION AND END THE #%&!! BARKING!

Room Tip: If you MUST stay here, do not accept a rear facing room unless you love BARKING DOGS.

“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Terrible! The worst place to stay in Tillamook. We thought our room (307) was just musty and the smell would go away so we unloaded all of our stuff and went to get something to eat. Got back and it still stunk, beyond 'B.O.'. When I said something, one of the girls at the desk said "oh, that room always stinks" and offered us another room or some Febreeze spray. Well, with heel spurs and driving all day we weren't up to a move so I took the spray and left, wondering why they gave us a room that "always stank". I went to get ice which is only on the 1st floor. Both machines were not working. I went back to the desk and the girl said "oh, they just broke today" and offered no resolution. To top it all off the restaurant she recommended was a nightmare, I won't even go into that mess. DO NOT ruin your trip by staying here, drive further if necessary. Almost forgot, the Febreeze spray didn't work, the stink was too potent.

Room Tip: Choose another hhotel.
