Ashley at front desk was very friendly, professional, and efficient. The location is nice that its away from the highway and has nice landscaping, even a picnic table out back. Its tough to complain based on the pricing, but since I checked out 5 days early to find a much better hotel for the same price - here are my observations:
Lack of upkeep noticeable. Kitchen tiles had large cracks, several areas of grout missing in shower and tub, heavy chemical perfume smell in room, large part of weather strip broken off bottom of door had to put a coat in front of it. Incredibly thin sheets and light blanket, and one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept on. Woke up at 3 am with muscle spasms. Non smoking rooms had multiple people smoking just outside their doorways and the smoke comes in your room through vent and windows. This is not the hotel's fault but a policy of at least 10' from non smoking rooms would help. There were a few utensils such a fork, spoon, butter knife and a spatula. No plate, bowl, cup or mugs. A nice full size refrigerator was a plus.

We stayed here for a few nights during our trip to Portland to visit my daughter and her husband. The room was spacious and the kitchenette was useful. Everything was clean and it was a nice, quiet location. We will stay here again!

I can't comment on the quality of this hotel as we never got to stay here because they did not keep rooms for us even though we had a reservation. Here are the details ... Our flight was coming in late (10:00 pm) so I called the Monday before we were arriving to confirm our reservation for 2 rooms and to let them know we will be arriving late at night. They said that would not be a problem, they would have the rooms ready for us. When we arrived at the hotel they said they only had one room left with one bed (we had 4 people). After searching for other options and not finding any other availability we finally agreed to take the one room. When we went into the room, there were already people sleeping in it! I'm sure that was fun for that family. The moral of the story is, not only did we not get the 2 rooms we had a reservation for, some other family was rudely awoken at 12:00 am by strangers breaking into their room with keys given to them by the hotel. This hotel clearly has an incompetent staff and they were totally non-apologetic about the situation. So if your idea of a good time is not getting a room when you had a reservation for 2 rooms or if you like a hotel that gives keys to your room to complete strangers, this is the hotel for you!

My hustband and I stayed around 12 days at this hotel, and it was most definitely a positive experience. It gave me the impression of a little village, kind of off the beaten path. The rooms were clean, modern and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would go back again without hesitation.
