I made my reservation on line and then called to verify details shortly before arrival. I had asked for a handicapped accessible room/ground floor - no stairs. I would also be traveling with a large dog. I arrived early but after a quick check by the clerk was told the room was ready. The room was spacious, clean, etc. There was a problem with the brand new A/C unit and it would not turn on. Maintanence immediately responded and determined that it would not be a quick fix. They called the front desk, arranged to have me switched to a new room. I went back to the front desk and they were just checking on the new room to make sure it was clean and ready...I was checking in early after all. They moved me to a ground floor room that was not handicap accessible but I only really needed ground floor...and it was an upgraded room with a nice desk, rolling chair, etc...all set up for computer use. And the A/C was perfect. If I had to have a complaint...the beds were pretty soft...but nothing is perfect! These guys had a bit of a 'blip' and handled it wonderfully! Things happen...it is how you deal with it that makes the difference to me. All the staff was very nice, smiled and said HI when passing in the hall, etc.
I would have NO problem recommending this site to fellow travelers!
