The person I first spoke with was not very personable. The room was fine, a little dirty. We noticed our feet were very dirty after taking a shower and walking around the room. I also found food crumbs by the night stand. The location seemed ok until we went to our van and there was a homeless man sitting by it writing on a notepad. This made our stay not so great he was looking inside our van and doing other inappropriate things. I left and called the hotel to tell them about the man and how scary he was and the hotel worker said he would go look for the man and we would be fine. We slept uneasy that night and left early!

We stayed here as an overnight stop on the way through the area. Check in and out was simple. The room was simple and small. The beds were comfortable so we had a good sleep. Everything worked and the nearby highway traffic noise was not an issue. The room was clean except for one sticky spot on the carpet. The tub/shower seemed to have no support under the bottom so it moved as you showered and was noisy as it moved. There was some smell of cigarette smoke in the building but not too much. We did like the continental breakfast - you could make your own waffles and they were good. The place seemed full on a Friday night.

The desk clerk (young man) was extremely courteous upon our arrival, July 18th, 2010. The room was very clean, but smelled strongly of stale cigaret smoke despite its non-smoking label. The Super Start breakfast had a waffle machine, which was nice, but I wouldn't call it a super start. You could do better in a local restaurant, but hey, you paid for it, so you might as well eat it. Overall, Super 8's are usually good for stops along your way if you're not too picky. I wouldn't entertain clients here or put up wedding guests.

The hotel was close by right on our way, and the service was EXCELLENT! Rachelle greeted us with a warm smile and excellent service. Then she found us a rate that kept us here instead of rolling on down the highway!! Thanks, Rachelle, you deserve a raise!
