We stayed at Sunriver in a lodge village suite over the new years holiday with the wife and two kids, age 10 and 7. The room was great, it has a loft with 2 queen beds upstairs and a couch bed downstairs. The room is equipped with a 3/4 size fridge, stove, microwave, and coffee pot. They also stock it with dishes, silverware, etc which makes cooking meals very convenient. The room also has a nice fireplace but it has a timer on it which shuts off after an hour so we were constantly turning it back on. Kind of annoying. The resort has hot tubs by the rooms which are nice, but all pools are outdoor and not open in the winter. There is an indoor lap pool at the excellent fitness center but they only opened it up for family swim for 1 hour on new years eve. The resort has a shuttle that makes two trips per day to mount bachelor about 18 miles away for skiing or tubing. We used it and it was fast and the driver friendly. Adults were $10 each, kids $5. There are lots of activities at the resort and the lodge is very nice to have a drink in or wander around. We've been here twice and will definitely return.
Room Tip: Suites have more room as well as a stove, fridge, and microwave.
