Picture the worst room you could imagine and then multiply it by 100, that's how awful this wanna be motel room was. They require a $50.00 deposit that you may or may not get back. My daughter & I walked into the room and stopped dead in our tracks. We were speechless. I wanted to grab of can of Lysol before I touched anything. The door had a big hole in it, the heater didn't work, the full sized fridge had the insides broken to pieces and the door was so broken it wouldn't close. The shower was small, (if you're over 5' don't bother trying to use it), and looked like it was in the middle of demolition, The "kitchenette" was a joke: broken fridge, filthy stove and oven and NO MICROWAVE. I don't know if the stove or oven worked, we didn't stick around to find out. The one dresser in the room looked like it was a World War II reject that had been placed outside for the trash man and stunk like mold, there was no place to hang clothing, (like I'd want to), the walls were filthy with holes, I could go on and on. The room also had HUGE SPIDERS! The whole motel needs to be demolished. The young couple at the front desk were great, but the owners are money hungry and DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS for any reasons! I'm giving you fair warning: DON'T GO THERE!! Oh, by the way, the same people also own the SUTTON MOTEL just down the street. It's slightly better but cost much more. They also require a $50.00 deposit and at both motels THEY COUNT EVERY ITEM in the room (blankets, sheets, towels, pillows, remote control, batteries in the smoke alarm, etc) before you check out to make sure you haven't stolen anything. Like I would want to steal anything from either place. I shudder to think of it.
