I have stayed here several times, and my experiences have ranged from terrible to fair. It's an old hotel in a prime location.

Couldn't be happier with our visit. We were upgraded to an oceanfront room and it was magnificent. Shaun, the general manager, was great and answered all the questions we had. The food was good as well. We will stay there again.

Another lovely weekend in Seaside! We love the Shilo---the staff is warm and friendly and the restaurant quality was fantastic.....I highly recommend the ravoli with blue cheese and hazelnuts. While the property, particularly the rooms, could use a facelift (like most of the Shilo properties we've stayed at recently), it's still a very nice place to stay. Our room on the 3rd floor had that wonderful view of the Oregon coast and the weather cooperated perfectly. All in all, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our visit immensely.

Again, another fantastic stay in Seaside, Oregon. The Shilo Inn Seaside is always a welcome sight where we always stay ocean front top floor suite. We have always experienced great fun and the views go one forever! There is something heavenly about opening the glass doors and just letting the seaair engolf the room! You walk into a small foyer with the bathroom to you immediate left, small neat clean. then round into the room with the kitchen again directly to your left with a bar so as not to impede your view. The room itself was sweet with bedroom area and small living room drinking in the views. The sound of the ocean is delicious. The Shilo Inn Seaside has a bar downstairs which is perfect to take in a glass of chardonnay and take in the ambiance and sunset. The hotel is literally at the end of the Prominade so an excellent place to stay as far as being smack dab in the middle of everything. The Hotel also has a nice restaurant even so admitedly we have never eaten there. We have always had a great experience here and found it both relaxing and romantic. Bonus is the parking!
