Lovely small hotel fronting the promenade on the beach in Seaside. Upscale room with patio seating just a few steps from the beach. Lots of extras in the kitchen area (wine glasses, corkscrew, serving utensils, etc.). Steps to the promenade for a nice beach walk. Reasonable price for quality, location and amenities. This was one of our favorite stops on our trip up and down the Oregon coast and we will plan a return visit.

Staff was very friendly and the location on the beach was nice. The rooms were nice but for what you get, it was quite expensive. I looked at so many places online before booking and I mistakenly had it in my head that there was a pool and spa, which would have justified the $195 room cost. Wrong - no pool or spa. The sound proofing in the place is terrible. We had a lower suite and the people above us were constantly walking around - not sure why. This normally should have been fine, but there must not be good insulation so we heard every step. The plumbing the building was loud too - again, sound-proofing issues. If I had it to do over again, I might have stayed in a more modest place in Seaside and put the money into a ritzier resort on another part of our Oregon Coast journey that actually had a pool and spa and other amenities - such as the Overleaf in Yachats. Oh, well, there is always next time.

We stayed for 2 nights and you couldn't ask for a better view. WOW. The wind off of the ocean that flowed into our room was amazing and the sunset was to die for. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The fresh homemade free cookies are out of this world and the candy sweets a nice touch. They also have a nice variety of free DVD's to borrow for all ages. The room and balcony was very nice and had everything you could want for your trip. The beds are comfortable and the decor very nice. The main center of town, where the main restaurants and entertainment are, is only a short 10 minutes walk away. We would go back again and I still long for those cookies.

We recently had our honeymoon in Seaside. I was sure to check prices and reviews before booking a place. I must say I was not disappointed in the slightest. In of the Four Winds exceeded my expectations. They were always extremely polite/freindly and offered every kind of service to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was beautiful and clean, the view stunning, and the little extras made it memorable. I recommend getting the smores package they offer. We will be back!
