“Relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Just got home from a great stay at the inn. From the moment I walked in, I felt so relaxed! The bath tub is extra deep for those who like to soak, there are freshly-baked cookies ready in the room when you arrive, and I just sank into the posturpedic mattress. And...as a frequent traveler, the first thing I do is check the bed for nasty surprises - none here! It was very clean.

Thank you to Kimberly for the complimentary upgrade and sweet hand-written welcome note!

“Wow!”

I lived in Oregon for 22 years, and have been to the coast a hundred times.... This trip and resort was the single most romantic place I have ever experienced. The whole place was amazing!! We've been back in Oklahoma for one day and are getting ready to book our next stay.

“Best Decision of our Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

We stayed at the Inn of the Four Winds August 2010. We had planned the trip just to see the coast but ended up heading there right after the passing of my Mom. The room was perfect - private bedroom for us and lots of room in the main living area with beds for the kids. We LOVED having the patio door opened and listening to the constant roar of the ocean. Staff was friendly, helpful and so accomodating. Got up the courage to ask for a special spot to scatter some of my Mom's ashes and they recommended "Hug Point" - only accessible at low tide - it was the perfect spot and the perfect day - we scattered early in the morning at low tide and said our good byes - returned to our room for some quiet reflection - met with a friend who we realized lived very close to Seaside, thanks to the free Wifi, then had our only sunset on the coast out of four nights. The staff provided us with lawn chairs and a smores package for our bonfire on the beach - the end to a perfect, perfect day - thank you SO much for making it the best memory possible.

Room Tip: We had a second floor, facing the ocean room - it was awesome!

“The highlight of of entire four week trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

We stayed in about 24 different hotels and B & Bs on this extended "Great Western Excursion" and none could compare to our experience at the Inn of the Four Winds in Seaside, OR. We just can't say enough about it. Super clean, large and luxurious rooms! All the immenities imaginable. Great beds. Sound sleep. If ever in the area again, we will go far out of our way to stay here again.

Location on ocean with very extensive boardwalk was wonderful. Sunset was a wow. Lots of people strolling the boardwalk and small campfires on the beach everywhere. Wow!

We walked the boardwalk perhaps a half mile to a terrific restaurant.

I just hope that we can visit again some day.

DON'T MISS THIS SPOT AT ANY PRICE!

“40th Wedding Anniversary Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

This was our 2nd trip to Seaside-but 1st time staying at this Hotel/resort.

We chose this hotel-after searching web pages and information available on TA reviews and the forum. We wanted something special as we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary. We made the perfect choice - our stay could not have been better. Even the weather was warmer than average.

Our stay was just for 2 nights-as we were on a road trip-making stops in Fernie, BC, Spokane WA, Lincoln City, Bend Oregon, Coeur d'Alene Idaho, then Cranbrooke BC for our final night-heading home to Calgary, Alberta.

Our friends had arranged with the hotel to have a bouquet of red roses, box of chocolates, bottle of red wine, and celebratory balloons weighed down with a bag of salt water taffy, and most importantly a card with a very special message composed by our friends, which the resort staff wrote out on a beautiful card. This was set out on the corner table of our suite-and was waiting for us. We opened the door to our suite - and voila!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friends that gave us this gift said the staff at the hotel could not have been easier to work with or more willing to help in any way possible to make this special for us.

Our suite was gorgeous-patio faced the ocean. It is a short and very pleasant 10 minute walk to downtown Seaside-which we did on both evenings. On our 2nd night we had dinner at a fantastic restaurant called The Twisted Fish - loved it.

We had a fantastic 2 nights stay and look forward to returning again soon.

Thank you for helping to make the most amazing memories of this very special anniversary - Leigh & Gordon
