We stayed at the Inn of the Four Winds August 2010. We had planned the trip just to see the coast but ended up heading there right after the passing of my Mom. The room was perfect - private bedroom for us and lots of room in the main living area with beds for the kids. We LOVED having the patio door opened and listening to the constant roar of the ocean. Staff was friendly, helpful and so accomodating. Got up the courage to ask for a special spot to scatter some of my Mom's ashes and they recommended "Hug Point" - only accessible at low tide - it was the perfect spot and the perfect day - we scattered early in the morning at low tide and said our good byes - returned to our room for some quiet reflection - met with a friend who we realized lived very close to Seaside, thanks to the free Wifi, then had our only sunset on the coast out of four nights. The staff provided us with lawn chairs and a smores package for our bonfire on the beach - the end to a perfect, perfect day - thank you SO much for making it the best memory possible.
