I was impressed by how clean the place was, but that is where it ended. The room was sparse. There were no lamps by the bed. There was no tub, but a bathroom with a pocket door and a shower inside. There was no alarm clock, I had to use my phone to see what time it was when the neighbors were up ALL NIGHT talking loudly. People were constantly in the hall. There was no fridge or microwave. I rose early to get to breakfast at the hotel, mostly because between the thin walls and hard beds, I couldn't get any rest. It was the worst breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. There was two kinds of cereal and milk, some packaged danishes that I grabbed for the road, and some bread and a toaster. Coffee, and a juice machine. I ate enough to get my stomach settled, but finished the morning at McD's down the street because there was no way that piddly breakfast was going to last until lunch. This place is cheap, but I'll stay elsewhere if I ever have to go to Salem again. I just wanted to get some rest for the night, bathe my kids, and eat a decent breakfast in the morning and it was impossible here at Rodeway.
