My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed Christmas at the Nob Hill Bed & Breakfast. We had everything we needed to snuggle in for the holidays. Our hosts even decorated our suite with Christmas tree & lights. Add a cozy fireplace, complimentary wine and a wonderful kitchen for my friend, the traveling chef, and the celebratory mood was set. Skiers in the group had a post-Christmas perfect day, with only an hour's drive to Mt Hood. Lift tickets were just $33 and several inches of newly fallen snow greeted them to a world of white powder. After a day of skiing the group dined at the Brazil Grill, only one of the many fabulous restaurants in the Portland area. What a great holiday!

Our stay was an extremely pleasant and an unexpected surprise. Our room was luxurious and outfitted perfectly to fit it's Parisian theme. The sitting room was very large and comfortable. A good night's sleep was had in the comfortable bed. The quietness of the +surrounding neighborhood enhanced this experience. The only downside was a small bathroom. The decor of the living and dining room are not to be missed. A panoramic view of the Columbia River.is had from the front porch. A hearty breakfast was accompanied by a pleasant conversation with the hostess.

Recently, a friend and myself went to this bed and breakfast. Tana and Matt were delightful and very accomodating. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. Tana and Matt definitely cooked up some great meals, (even with some dietary restrictions that we had requested). I would highly recommend a get-a-way here. Next time, I'd like to do more exploring during the day such as kayaking, going to Seaside, etc.

We love historic B&B's, and Nob Hill Riverview did not disappoint. It was relaxing and elegant. We were pampered with wine in the evening and in the morning, breakfast with fresh eggs from the hen in the back yard. Our hosts pointed out the locations where the movie Twilight was filmed, and told interesting stories of the history of the Nob Hill house and the arduous renovations they performed (ask Matt about his orange-hair episode!). Upon reviewing the B&B's website AFTER our stay, I would say that the site accurately describes what to expect, including the excellent service.
