I can tolerate horiffic traffic noise like you get in these rooms at the Douglass, but why the dim witted, pleasant idiot behind the desk thought I wanted to have a room next to hyped up low life lip flapping loudmouthed long term residents I do not know. Thank god for the blower, which was loud enough to permit me to sleep, but cut out for long periods of time, during which I was treated to high volume tales of trite and trashy detail. Then there were the guests that came and went, and this is all after 11 pm and I want to sleep now. And this was noise coming from on the balcony (and a crying baby to boot), not the room. When I called down to the desk at 1:15 am, the phone rang and was never picked up. A 59.00 flop is what this place is. At least they did not have bedbugs. They had other kinds of bugs that will cause me to NEVER stay there again.

After my wonderful stay in Oregon; I realized its not the Name of the Hotel or the fine uniforms on the staff or the fancy talk but the "people" friendly service on a trip away from home. The owner is so involved in the care of this hotel he and his family made me feel right at home. Great service, home cooked meals at the restaurant and the feeling that you never left home. Would go again in a heart beat.

Great little motel, convenient location and a great restaurant across the street. Our dogs liked it as well. Stayed there once before, and will do so again.

This place was terrible. Rooms were very small, looked like last time they renovated was the 1950s, The check in desk was dirty. We arrived at 4:08 check-in and cancellation were the 4:00. We requested to cancel and they refused. Best Western International was not helpful either. We ended up leaving and camping on the coast.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Salem(Very Nice) and LaQuinta in Newport(Very Nice) both around the same price.

I suggest you avoid Roseburg all together.
