“A wonderful haven to escape to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

We were looking for a beautiful country oasis that was in the Umpqua wine region and found this place has it all. Friendly, down-to-earth hosts, great wine to taste along with a complimentary bottle, a peaceful comfortable guest cottage, picturesque vineyards to explore, perfectly located along a run of a dozen or so other vineyards with tasting rooms.

If you're looking for a romantic and relaxing escape with the love of your life, I highly recommend this place. A note: you need to be at least somewhat tolerable of dogs as they have some adorable dogs who like to greet you in the morning and lead you around the property. We're dog-lovers, so this was an unexpected treat. We were also appreciative that they didn't make much noise.

“Little piece of Paradise”

Last summer, we had to make a trip south to Myrtle Creek for a family gathering. I was hoping to find a simple motel we could stay in to get away from the crowds. Instead, I stumbled across the most amazing B&B. The location was absolutely idyllic; vineyards, a fully stocked fish pond, oak groves, rolling hills and, most importantly, peace and quiet. The hosts, Terri and Jim are friendly and generous, but still gave us the space we needed, the dogs were so affectionate and the chickens provided us with some killer breakfasts. We were greeted with hand drawn maps to the property, a full kitchen stocked with some essential food items and a bottle of local wine. I can not wait for a reason to go back there. I would have reviewed this place sooner, but I didn't know about trip advisor then.

“Paradise found!”

This is the most fantastic b&b you will ever experience. The cabin is neat and well equipped with all the conveniences. The location is close to Roseburg on a working vineyard. Terri, your hostess, provides a choice of all the breakfast you can eat (fresh fruit, plus eggs from her chickens right there on the property) OR her fabulous homemade muffins. She keeps bringing food of all sorts as well as a complimentary bottle of wine. The property is its own little world, with hiking paths and a fish pond, plus 5 crazy dogs. The outside jacuzzi is exceptional. We came to visit and ending up purchasing land nearby; we were that impressed with the friendly folks and amazing flora and fauna of this area.

“Delfino's Vineyard B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 May 2007

My wife and I decided to stay in the Roseburg, OR area for a few days and use it as a home base while we explored southern Oregon. I found the lodging options in Roseburg limited and by chance came across a listing for the Delfino Vineyards B & B. I had reservations about staying at a B & B (especially one with only 1 room), but decided to give it a try and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Located a couple of miles outside of Roseburg, the setting is peaceful and serene and felt just like returning home at the end of each day. The 1 room is actually a separate cottage complete with a kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. If you are looking for something to do on the property, no problem. There is a lap pool, a hot tub, a pond, a number of walking trails, and 14 acres of vineyards to stroll around. But the best part is the hospitality shown by Terry and Jim. Not only did they make us feel like part of the family, they welcomed us with a bottle of wine and delivered fresh home made warm scones and fruit each morning. Our stay at the Delfino B & B was one of the highlights of our trip and I would strongly recommend that if you have the occasion to be in southern Oregon, even if you have to go out of your way, a stay at the Delfino’s B & B will be an experience you won’t soon forget.
