We stayed two nights at the Lodge this past weekend. The room was clean and newly renovated. It was nice enough, but looks as if not much thought was given to the decor. More like putting together pieces and furnishings that were found as a great deal instead of thought given to design.
There was also signage in the hallway directing guests to the fitness room which we later found was not there. It was planned, but didn't happen, however signs were never removed... disappointing.
Breakfast in Aerie Cafe was good, though they seem like they are still getting used to timing. My meal and my husband's meals were brought out at different times.
The Resort recently went through some branding changes and they may still be getting comfortable with the changes. Hopefully it won't take them long to get it together. This has the potential to be a really nice destination.
