We'd recommend the motel as a good place to stay for Crater Lake, especially if, like us, you're too late to book a place any nearer.
We stayed 3 nights at the motel. Our unit was two rooms, plus bathroom. Both rooms had two beds - double beds in the larger room and single beds in the smaller. The front door opened directly into the larger room, the other room and bathroom opening off that. In the larger room were a TV, a fridge and a very basic cooker. There were no chairs to sit on while eating; in fact we couldn't even watch TV without lounging on the beds.
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. No problems with noise. We had two meals in the hotel restaurant - breakfast and supper; both were excellent. The rest of our meals we prepared in our room. There's a useful village store along the street. There are good easy walks, straight from the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel grounds are attractive.More
