After reading some previous reviews of this motel I was skeptical of staying here but the price attracted me to stay here.. It was $75 dollars Less then the Red Lion next door. The room is VERY clean the bathroom is SPOTLESS. doesnt smell bad. There is some noise from the train. the heater in tv block the train noise well. This is a Great place try it out for yourself.

Motel is a standard Motel 6 with two exceptions. Firstly it has free Wifi - I don't see that very often and never at a Motel 6 before. It's very slow but I was able to check my email on my iPod. Unfortunately there is no laundry which is also very unusual for a Motel 6.

Even though it is downtown there aren't a lot of places to eat nearby. I'd say there's only half a dozen or so places within three blocks of the motel. The tram runs right by the motel so I expect you could use that to find more stuff if you wanted.

Rooms are clean, modern and standard sized. Motel staff is polite and competent.

Clean, quiet, ordinary motel room, just what I wanted. Fridge, microwave, iron and board provided with room and everything worked. Free local phone calls and free parking. Great price; excellent value for money. Right on the MAX tram line from the airport, and MAX rides to and from downtown are FREE. Not really downtown, and neighborhood lacks glamor, but lots of restaurants and Lloyd (shopping) Center a short walk away.

Although the place was okay, I had the worst night's sleep in 2 weeks in the States. The comments of the earlier reviewers ring true: for whatever reason, there is something going on in other rooms at all hours. I didn't want to investigate! The structure of the motel creaks, so all you hear all night are footfalls of people walking/stomping around. This went on till 3 am. The service was indifferent, and (unusually in the US), no breakfast. And that was not delivered with a smile, either. Spend a few more dollars/pounds and stay somewhere decent.
