It's not a four or five star hotel, nor does it pretend to be. This is a budget hotel.
My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The lady at the desk was friendly and very helpful with directions and information.
Parking was easy and at no additional charge. There is a garage. We never had trouble finding a space.
The suite was spacious and clean. The maid service was very good. My only big problem is that the air conditioning unit made annoying noises. We often had to turn it off in order to hear the television. I recommend asking the front desk at check in for a room with a quiet air conditioner. Avoid room 18 if this is an issue for you.
The neighborhood was quiet and appeared safe. The hotel is very close to the airport but there is no airplane noise.
There is a free no frills continental breakfast. The coffee was very good.
There is a pool, but the deep end is only 5 feet. It is more of a kiddie pool.
Overall, our stay was a good experience.

We only stayed for one night on our way to Bend, but it was a great value for the money and would be a great place to stay for a week in Portland. It is very easy to find from the airport and the studio setup was very nice and roomy for just two of us. The customer service was great, and they served a big breakfast in the morning. The only complaint I had was that parking was pretty difficult - small spaces and full by the time we got there. There is street parking on the side of the hotel, and the neighborhood was not scary at all. We parked on the side street and had no problems. We would stay there again for a longer time.

My husband and I spent one night in this hotel on June 20th. The pros were that it was relatively inexpensive and extremely close to the airport (we had a 6:30 am flight). Check in went okay. It was a bit difficult to get our luggage up all the stairs and parking was tight. Our room was worn, but thankfully clean. The problems we had occured the next morning. We had to take our rental car back to the airport and needed an early start. We got in line behind a family of 5 witing to check out. It was around 5 AM. The lady at the front desk was putting on her coat. She began to go out the front door and completely ignored me. I stopped her and asked her what we needed to do to check out as it was getting late. She was extremely rude - I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel. She told me that I would just have to wait where I was - she had "errands" to run. I told her I had to catch a flight and that we chose the hotel becuase it was close to the airport for easy check-out. She was visibly angry with me causing her delay. SHe said she had to run the family to the airport and would be back in "20 minutes or so." This was unacceptable to me. I told her so and she huffed and puffed and very grudgingly checked me out (took all of 5 minutes!). There was no one else around working. She complained to me the entire time she was charging my credit card about how she had errands to run. I would never stay here again because of this and am filing a formal complaint with the hotel.

We stayed 5 days, great staff, clean rooms, we highly recommend it.
