We stayed here for 2 nights and the room was very clean and big. Beds were very comfortable too. The staff was very nice and approachable. They helped us to map out our daily attractions by seeing places which were within the same area. This was great cause we got to see alot with their help.

If you are looking for concierge service, valet parking or designer soaps, this is not your choice. If you want spacious rooms, free parking, courteous service and a modest price the Briarwood Suites may be what you are looking for.
The room was clean and quiet. It is true that although a coffee maker is provided, you need to bring your own coffee. The fridge and microwave were clean and worked well, and although the linens were well used, clean and fresh.
Certainly a consideration when looking for an economical stay in Portland.

because of a small fire at my apartment building I was moved to a motel for 2 weeks ... I was lodged at the Briarwood and had an outstanding experience ( much to my surprise and delight !) Theresa - the manager - was wonderful and I felt as if I was a guest at her home .. very clean rooms , very quiet and peaceful stay .. I will be recommending the Motel to my Grad and seminar students when they come for study ... only suggestion is that they make the breakfast more varied - perhaps fresh fruit ? .. But a fine place to stay .. Thank you Theresa !!!.. Bobcampos

The day I check in Theresa, was very nice and friendly we got long well she check me in and gave me my key's and say if there any think i can do for you just let me know .I say ok .went to my room and it was so clean and smell so fresh I though man this place must be expence but I was `nt . So then I being to put my shirt and pant away . the next to day,s the place was so Quite Igot pleant of sleep and the few day,s I need a DryCleaners. that day and I saw 3 people who was puting new loveset in all the room and I ask your staff member his name was Raymond . He was so help full to me he went out of his way to look up a drycleaners for me and wrote down how to get to it and show me which way to go. and i was very very thank full for all they done . that inclued Patty the housekeeping she was very nice to me and my friend who i was taken care of she was 92 year old she love patty and miss her to this day . These 3 people you have working for you you should say thank you to them and never let them go cause i have being to other place,s and they will never add up to your place and you staff .P.S. HAPPY THANKSGIVING ,TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU

p.s I also had one bad person on your night shift get smart with me i had to report it To Theresa and she told me she would tell some one the only bad thing happen to me was
on my room phone a red light came on it say i had a mess but i did,nt so i call the front desk and to your night shift worker that it was on and if he could cut it off he told me to just put a peace of paper over it and go to bed . so the next day i went to the front desk and told Raymond and he just push a button and cut it off for me .the person was white hair old man .he need to be talk to . but that was the only thing went bad for my stay there
