As a retirement gift my wife's former co-workers gifted her with a night's stay at The Craftsman. We stretched that to two days over our anniversary, and are very happy we did. My five-star rating, which Michael and Laura certainly deserve, is gratefully given for their friendliness and the tasteful accommodation they provide. Speaking of "tasteful," breakfasts are anything but Ho-hum affairs: Michael enjoys preparing them as much as we did on the fork end! When I told him I was avoiding wheat, he served gluten-free French toast...and later left a plate of cookies (also GF) on the table for snacking. Upstairs, we slept in the Prairie Room, with its spacious bath and veeeery comfortable bed. We grabbed a couple of books from the lobby library, and with robes to lounge in, retired to peaceable quiet in the evenings. Ahhh...
When you read this (somewhat) belated review, Michael, accept again our Thanks for a fine visit in your beautifully remodeled home.
