I am a small young woman (27) with blond hair and as non-threatening as it is probably possible to get. I was verbally accosted by the owners of this campground and felt physically threatened by both the man and the woman. Although I had family staying in the park, they gave me no chance to explain why I happened to be crossing the road in front of their RV Park. These may have been the nastiest people I have ever encountered, and I have visited more then 30 countries. Although I apologized profusely, and quickly backed away, they continued to follow me and verbally abuse me. After getting across the street to the Pelican Pub in tears, a person there told me they were the OWNERS! Please don't stay here. Although this is a beautiful little town and a great place to come with family, you don't want your loved ones exposed to these kinds of people. Stay somewhere else – rent a house, go to the Pelican Pub for great clam chowder, enjoy the beach – but don’t stay here. People like this eventually snap, and you don’t want to be in the path when that happens.
