“Great Food & Great View”

This charming little restaurant was such a delight. Combine great food, great views and a great ambiance, it can´t be beat. Oh yeah, great prices also!

We enjoyed a special of hazelnut encrusted halibut with a bleu cheese vinagrette and pan seared oysters. The oysters just melted in our mouths.

One drawback is they don´t take reservations and there´s only about 10 or 12 tables, but even if you have to wait, it´s definitely worth it!

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 March 2009

I first ate at Roseanna's more than 25 years ago, when I was a young boy on vacation with my family. I think I've eaten there 4-5 times since. Having returned last week for a 4 night stay in Oceanside, I was pleased to see that Roseanna's was still up and running. Not much has changed, but that's a good thing! The view is awesome, the atmosphere is causual but elegant and the food is better than ever. All of the people in my party ordered different dishes and they all were excellent. The prices were on the higher side, but reasonable for the quality of the dishes. The place is small, so larger groups are a problem. They gladly accomodate kids, but there's not much run'n room!

“Worthwhile Stop”

My wife and I visited Oceanside for the first time today.

Oceanside does not get the crowds found in some beach towns and Roseanna's is really the only place to eat. The Inn across the street was closed and for sale. Roseanna's was busy at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon.

Most tables have an ocean view.

Staff was friendly and service was good.

There were 4 specials listed, so we each tried one. I had fresh ling cod with a hazlenut crust. My wife had sole baked with onions & spices wrapped in parchment paper. The food was good, but not great. Portion sizes should be sufficient for most people, but these are not the huge portions common at many restaurants these days.

There is a huge selection of desserts. I tried the 3 milk coconut cake with blueberries, which I enjoyed. My wife had the Marrionberry swirl cheesecake. The desserts were very good, but not "too die for."

Overall, we enjoyed Roseanna's enough that we are looking forward to visiting again, and we would not stop somewhere else to eat if I planned to be in Oceanside.

“Roseanna's Secret-Best food and service Anywhere.”

4 years ago we got married and honeymooned for a week in beautiful and quiet Oceanside, OR. We went to try out the cute little restaurant called Roseanna's Cafe and fell in love with the people, the food especially, and the overall experience. We have tried several different clam chowders up and down the coast and around the states but never have we been so impressed with the home made clam chowder at Roseanna's. The Three Arch Rocks Chicken Sandwich is my absolute favorite with the delicious black bean salsa. Their food consists of authentic seafood and chicken dishes with a good variety. Their prices are higher, but so is the quality. You get what you pay for. I always recommend this place to everyone. We travel 1.5 hours several times a year just to eat there. Some say it's crowded or they had to wait, well that's because their food is so good. Their portions are just the right size for a gourmet restaurant. For some, you'll even have leftovers. I recommend this fantastic restaurant to everyone to try once.
