I stayed here with my husband for a get-a-way night and we paid for an ocean view room. I was thinking a closer to the beach ocean view, but no we could only see a small part of the ocean over the tops of other buildings. Not impressed!

This is the worst motel I ever stayed in. The room smelled very bad. The new managers were helpful one minute the next she was yelling at people. The room was not cleaned one time during our stay never got clean towels ice machine didn't work the so called breakfast was terrible. Did I mention how rude the woman was.I can't belive they allow rude people like her to work there. I will never stay there again. Its not worth what you pay:(

we stayed at econo lodge because it was advertised as pet friendly and affordable. when we checked in i was quoted one price and was told to come in and get a reciept in the morning before checking out the price was amazingly more and every thing was broken no ice, breakfast what a joke we will never stay there again, the lady at the desk was rude, and unhelpful. would rather pay 150 than stay at econo lodge

I was very hesitant about booking at this hotel because of all of the bad reviews. When I got there, though, the front desk worker was extremely nice. Considering that the hotel was very, very inexpensive, I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me an ocean-view room. The view was very nice, and it was enjoyable to see the sunset on the Pacific. The room was very clean, and it appears as though the carpet may have been replaced recently. The room did have an odor, though it smelled more of cleaning supplies. The bed was relatively comfortable. There was no connection to wireless internet during my stay. Overall, I would recommend staying here. If in doubt, just ask to view a room.
