“Great treatment”

We always stay in Medford when traveling from Wa to Sacramento and this time we tried Holiday inn express instead of our usual stop of the Marriott.
Our stay was comparable in amenities and price but This property had a better pool and hot hot tub as well as a better breakfast! Being pregnant, I had an appetite to try many of the choices and I loved the pancake maker ( press a button and wait for a fresh one ), the biscuits and gravy, the hard boiled eggs, and decaf coffee were all fantastic. They also had a nice selection of yogurts, breads, muffins etc. the staff was super nice. I had booked the hotel originally thinking their pool was long enough for a serious lap swimmer like myself. It was 24 ft and felt smaller in person. The front desk guy noticed my disappointment and called me up to pass me the address of a full size 25m lap pool a couple miles down the road at the Superior Athletic Club. When thinking I had been mislead about the length of their pool he even offered to discount my room 10 bucks, the entry fee for the athletic club! I thanked him but declined since it was my own fault for thinking 24 ft was longer than it was! I did enjoy both the holiday inn pool ( w my 2 yo) and the athletic club for my serious work out. Had a great stay! I did find out that the Hampton inn has guest passes on hand for the athletic club so for my neurotic lap swimming need I may try them next time. Will be sad to miss that holiday inn breakfast though! We'll see!

Room Tip: I asked for a quiet room, got 4 th floor front side and it was great!

“Another great stay in Medford”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Medford as it was close to several restaurants, walking distance to Mcgraths Seafood and to Harry & David's. Location for me w
S what I needed for trip. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the hotel as well. Nice rooms and set up well for working especially when on business.

This is certainly a hotel to consider while in Medford. good Holiday Inn Express breakfast bar as well.

Room Tip: Inquire with hotel on the upgraded rooms with a sofa. Not sure what price difference was but seemed...

“Just Okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

We are members of the Priority Club. Upon checkin at night (10PM), we were told they could not retrieve our number to give us credit for the stay because the computer would take too long. Um - the front desk is open all night - just look it up! We were handed 2 bottles of water for being club members and that was it. Some of the HIE give goodie bags with cookies and snacks That is what sets them apart from the others.

The room was clean. When we went down the next morning to have breakfast, they were just cleaning it up and did not offer to get us any food. We had a long ride home, and it would have been nice if they could have gotten us some items to take along. So we were left with only a couple of cups of coffee.

We would stay there again if need be, but we would not go out of our way to do so.

“Comfortable and clean.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Always a nice place to stay in Medford. Have stayed here many times. Very close to Harry and David's Country Store. Lots of restaurant options close - even within walking distance. Fred Meyer shopping close.

Will stay again.
