Picked this hotel based on reviews and was not disappointed. It is a basic business hotel but is very clean. What stands out for this class of hotel is the bed, so comfortable! Everything else is what you'd expect.

Had a nice stay at the Red Lion. We were there for five nights since our son had an event in town. Central to a lot of different activities and places. Sinks in bedroom area versus bathroom were a little odd but the countertop was large with two sinks. Pillows farily new but very big, we had to ask for others.

Hotel was clean, breakfast was decent.

The beds and linens are wonderful. Our room was very quiet and cool. We will bring our own coffee from now on, as theirs is very weak. The breakfast room is very cold (why?), and the lady attending to it most of the time time didn't seem to be up to the task, as things were running out, trash overflowing, weak coffee, etc.
The afore-mentioned weird sink/toilet and shower arrangement is actually very convenient as I could brush teeth and apply make-up while my husband took his foggy shower (inexplicably, there was no fan or window!).
Overall, a positive experience, but I think the Comfort Inn is nicer in the breakfast department.

My husband and I spent one night at the Red Lion just outside the main part of McMinnville after being in town for the annual family event, the UFO Festival. It was a crazy Saturday and most hotels filled up. The Red Lion staff were efficient, helpful and very pleasant. The facility was clean and room was well equipped with everything we needed. Not only did it have the microwave and fridge, but even a safe. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've had in our travels, with quality bedding and plenty of pillows. The toiletries were from Bath and Body Works, shower was great, and the counter with sink in the bedroom had quartz counter top. We stayed on the 3rd floor where it was quiet, even though they told us the hotel was full.
The continental breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles and biscuits with gravy along with the usual fare. We were very pleased with the entire stay and would go there again if in that area.
