This was our first time staying in the North Building and we fell in love with the captain's bed...so cozy...our own little place among the trees. We star gazed on the balcony at night and then cuddled in front of the fire. Great windows and lots of light, yet felt private. The room was spotless and the wet bar area had everything we needed. Only thing we'd change is the uncomfortable sofa (as a couch, not as a bed). But we loved the room and can't wait to go back. We also highly recommend The San Dune pub just up the block on Laneda...yum!

We spent two nights in the Manzanita room. We were delighted to have a small balcony that had a view of the beach about a block away. The furnishings were very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was excellent, especially since you could watch the fireplace as you soaked in the tub. We would defintinely return.

I stayed here for one night in the Manzanita Room. Beautiful large room with comfortable furniture and bed and spotlessly clean. Well equipped with a hot tub and fireplace. It's in a great location off the main street of town and only a minute's walk to the beach.

Our stay in March was our third time staying at the Inn at Manzanita. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with a nice jaccuzzi tub, mini fridge, microwave and wet bar. The location is perfect, at the end of Laneda Avenue, a short walk to everything in town and to the beach. The staff is all very friendly, there is a nice selection of DVDs in case you get stuck inside due to inclement weather or just feel lazy. A recent offering to frequent guests was a $600 advance purchase for three stays in any of the rooms (except the penthouse) -- one stay in summer season, one in winter, and one in spring -- with no weekdays only restriction, and only one blackout date. We took advantage of that deal, and will be returning for our summer visit in early September. We always visit the San Dune Pub (excellent onion rings and pub fare), Vino (charming little wine bar with small plates) and Marzano's Pizza when in Manzanita.
