My husband and I have stayed in Bed and Breakfast Inns a number of times over the years. I enjoy the lack of in room television and quirky showers that often come with B & B’s more than he. Or recent experience at Sweet Virginia’s (twice in one month) has convinced him
that indulging my fun with B & B stays is something he can live with.
The hostess Tryna is wonderful. She is there for a friendly chat about the area if you wish, but she gives her guests plenty of space.
We have experienced all three rooms. The first stay we were in the Garden Room on the first floor. It is a large, nicely furnished and decorated, comfortable room that has the added enjoyment of it’s own patio (too bad it's only a full size bed, though). The second stay my
husband and I stayed in the Heritage Room (upstairs, queen bed) and my daughter (13) and her friend were in the Americana (upstairs, full
size bed). The Heritage room also has an adjoining sun-porch, sitting
room with a daybed. All of the rooms have great beds and top-notch linens. Breakfast at both of our stays was outstanding. It begins with fresh fruit topped with her homemade granola and served with the option of yogurt. The first time she served a yummy quiche and the second stay was an out of this world potato casserole and tasty homemade apple muffins. She’s considerate of dietary needs, which hasn’t been the case at all of our previous B & B stays. You won't be disappointed with a stay at Sweet Virginia's!
