“Wonderful place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I chose the Coho as we were in town on business and wanted a ocean view suite. We stayed in the Sunset suites which these rooms are newer, large, oceanfront and adult only. The staff is top notch and always availible for your needs. Very clean and large rooms! Beautifully done is what I can say! I will definately be booking my next stay here!

Room Tip: They also have other rooms that are for families, larger groups. It is nice to have the different o...

“Our stay at the Coho Motel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

The best thing about this motel is that the staff are friendly and helpful. The view is good, could be better. The rooms are small, bathroom is so tiny you can barely get in and out of it...the sink located outside the main bathroom is a pedestal with no space to place toiletries. Overall, I think the motel is overpriced for what you get. Also the dining room where the continental breakfast is located is outside of the main motel as is the indoor pool.

Room Tip: Go up past the main floor for a better ocean view

I wanted to personally apologize that you were not completely satisfied with your stay at our hotel. I personally feel that our staff could have better accommodated you in a room that would have been more to your satisfaction. With around 15 different room types, our property contains different bathroom layouts throughout the property depending on which room you are in. While some of the bathrooms are smaller, we do have rooms with much more spacious layouts that may have been more to your liking. Based on the dates of your stay, our hotel was experiencing a very high occupancy which directly reflected our rates being slightly higher. We hope that you will give us another try so you are able to experience what so many of our loyal guests have come to love about our property.

“It was awesome”

We went for the first time. From the start of talking on the Phone with Katie making the reservation she was so helpful. Then when we checked in Liza was so nice and helpful. The queen double room was so great and having a kitchen was very convenient. Loved the balcony overlooking the ocean and hearing it all night was so relaxing. It's just what we needed to get away we will be back.

“Nice hotel on Ocean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

It is a converted Motel Style Hotel with nice furnishings. The view is great and easy access to the beach. It was not too expensive and it included breakfast so that was nice. I think it is a great value for the location and comfort!

“Different is good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Normally we stay at a condo timeshare, but because of short notice and a busy holiday weekend, we had to pick an alternative location to stay. I wanted to choose something fun and different and the Coho seemed like the perfect choice. We really enjoyed staying here. If you are looking for a run of the mill, same type of place you've stayed at before - this is not it. It is quirky and the type of place you will remember staying. The staff is friendly and I enjoyed seeing them daily when we went to get our fresh ground coffee for the next morning. The continental breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. The views from the room were incredible (we were lucky enough to enjoy snow, rain, sleet and high winds) and the fireplace gave the room great ambiance. We would recommend this Lodge to anyone looking for something a little different. If you are looking for the same old, same old - stay at a chain hotel.

We are pleased to hear that your experience switching to the Coho from a condo/timeshare was so seamless and enjoyable. Our staff works hard to assure that our guests are satisfied and experiencing their best stay possible, so we are pleased that they met your needs.
