We always stay at The Sandcastle when we visit Lincoln City, and it is very nice, but I wanted to discover other great places to stay. We are celebrating our birthdays this month and I wanted something extra special. I had read many, many great reviews of the Starfish Manor and wanted to experience this gem of a place for ourselves. We were not disappointed. The room and the service were top notch, just as other reviewers had promised it would be.

We were having trouble getting the Internet to connect in our room, #15. We informed Karen, at the front desk, of our problem. She was on it immediately. She summoned a nice maintenance fellow to come and mess with the router. Still no go. The Internet connected just fine when we tried our laptop in the lobby, but back in our room, zilch. We were resigned to no in room access when the phone rang. Dear, sweet Karen made an offer to put us in a different room. I wanted to make sure the other room would be the same type, with an in room Jacuzzi. She assured us we were going to an even better room, and she did not lie! We trotted our laptop down to room 17 - the Bella Suite!!! The Internet popped right up for us and Karen helped us move our belongings into our new digs. It was a beautiful suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room and living room! It had a stacking washer and dryer! We not only had an in room Jacuzzi but a private hot tub on our ocean front balcony!!!! I loved the comfortable, large sectional sofa in the living room area. So much nicer than what we have at home - LOL! I loved the paint, the furniture, the art and the beautiful cherry wood cabinets in the kitchen. I even loved the cute little touch of how the toilet roll was presented! I'm such a geek I took pictures of the toilet paper!

Happy Birthday to us! Will we return again? Heck, yeah! We are spoiled for life now.
