We stayed at this Inn, as a pre-valentines mini-vacation.
Found the Inn clean, bright and overall a very good choice for our overnight visit to Lincoln City. The Inn has good lighted parking and is close to convenient grocery shopping and other services. The staff are pleasant and helpful. They extend certain discounts to AAA, AARP, etc., but you have to ask. To my knowledge however, they do not offer a Veteran's discount as some of other places in the area do.
A slight negative is that the overall breakfast was good, plentiful for waffles, pancakes and cereals but basic with only boiled eggs (chilled in ice) as the only protein offering. Other places we have stayed had bacon, eggs and sausage for a similar room rate/price. One additional less favorable comment is that the cable TV had basic offerings with no Sci-Fi or other similar channels.
Realizing that finding a "good value vs stay" place is not always a good enough reason to recommend it or for that matter revisit a particular place, (after all one's travel dollars need additional benefit to help with that decision)... we would like to say that Yes! This Inn is in a beach resort town with great driftwood filled beaches and gorgeous vistas, but that is not the only benefit's that draw in this Inns clientele. There is a little known fact that helps as well...the Lincoln City Mayor, City Counsel and Businesses have commissioned the local glass artisans to make beautiful, hand blown glass orb floats that they drop on the weekends along the Lincoln City beaches during this season for a "Finders Keepers" treasure hunt!
Call the Inn and the Staff will give you all the details!
We recommend checking out the local glass artisan shops in Lincoln City and especially Depot Bay for some real hand made glass treasures!
Thurs. or Sat. (only days they offer the buffet) is a great time to go as The Spouting Horn Restaurant in Depot Bay (20 min. drive from the Inn) has a very good buffet with prime rib, seafood and all the trimmings for less than $14.00 per person! Check out the home made pies... they are to die for! This place is clean and the food is very good. And they serve "catch of the day" fish and chip dinners that are worth it!
All-in-all we would recommend this Inn as a very good clean place to stay in Lincoln City. we intend on revisiting it soon!

We're always happy to offer the best rate available, including discounts for certain programs (AAA/AARP) when available. Don't worry, you didn't miss out on a discount as we aren't able to 'stack' or combine discounts, so one is as good as any other. As we begin transitioning into the busy season, we're looking at expanding our breakfast options. We hope to see you again soon so you can check out the new options!

“Return visit to Wecoma”
I visited last November (2011), and returned this February (2012). My room (323) just as great as was my previous room: clean, modern, furniture in great shape, balcony with Pacific in the distance. Hotel Manager Bonnie remembered me (always a nice touch), and Julia was very friendly and courteous checking me in. I'll return again when I'm ready for an overnight get-away from Portland.

Great hotel at a great price and they allow pets for not a huge fee! Very pleased with our stay would stay again!

We're always happy to see the adorable pooches that travel with our guests, and to accommodate them in our ground-level rooms with easy access to a walking area. “Great Place To Stay”
I have stayed at the Wecoma serveral times during the past few months on my sales travels. The staff has always been very friendly and courteous. The rooms are large and very clean. I would recommend the Wecoma for buiness or weekend getaway anytime.

“Very Friendly Staff”
At the last minute we decided to head down to the beach. We checked the website and verified the room price but I also called to verify the availability. Was told that two rooms were available so I went ahead and reserved one over the phone. No problems there.
When we arrived, we checked in and I paid and I thought that the price was a little higher than I remember. We were in a hurry to check-in and get to dinner so I didn't say anything about it.
The room was very nice and clean but FREEZING when we walked in because the heat was turned all of the way off. No problems since we were just dropping off the bags and leaving.
When we came back from dinner, the elevator smelled like alcohol on the way up and it appeared that there was a large underage party going on on the third floor but it was actually quiet.
Unfortunately, my kids were being troublemakers and we had to leave early (1:30AM) because they were crying very loudly (17 months old) and I didn't want to wake the other guests.
The desk clerk was very nice and completed the check-out for me and when I mentioned the price discrepancy she said she would check it out and e-mail me in the morning when the manager came in.
By 7 AM I had an e-mail that my rate had been adjusted down.
Overall a very nice stay at an average hotel.
