I had stayed here before some time ago, and gave it a try again; and I’m glad I did. The reception staff was accommodating, and offered to show a number of rooms; this accommodation has improved a great deal and in every respect!
My room was clean and welcoming; during the night, the sound of breaking waves 100 feet below my balcony made me sleep soundly; and the view of the ocean the next morning was breathtaking.
I also welcomed the free continental breakfast: coffee, milk, serials, 100% real orange juice, yogurt, delicious muffin, Fuji apple, banana, etc. At this place you get a lot for a bargain price.
I was on a business trip and had to move on, but plan staying in one of their kitchen units when returning soon with family to unwind a couple of days, walk along the shoreline (according to the desk attendant: "within 5 minutes walk from my room."), and watch migrating whales.

Every person we encountered was helpful, friendly and accomodating.Our room was very comfortable and had special touches prepared for our celebration.The balcony view was exceptional and the fireplace made the cool evenings cozy and warm after long walks on the beach. we will definitely return in the near future!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the views. Customer service was excellent. Would definitely return to this gem!

We stayed for two nights at the Edgecliff and were so impressed with the exceptional customer service. The staff was friendly, accomodating and REAL. The room was clean and the bed....comfortable doesn't even come close to how we slept. The view from our room was breathtaking. The ocean sounds with the fireplace burning was heavenly. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the staff make it so special....with a Real treat. We are looking forward to staying at Edgecliff Motel in the near future and will make this our annual spot to return next year.,, Big flatscreen TV, a plus.... Breakfast was also good. Not a bad thing to say...IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!
