We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August and we had a wonderful time. The room was very clean (definitely NO BEDBUGS!) and comfortable. We had a first floor room so there was a deck that we sat on and enjoyed the beautiful view of the coast and the gorgeous sunsets. The hotel is directly on the beach and I thought the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room at a great price. If you are looking for a luxurious, 5 star hotel then you should go somewhere else (and play 3 times the price). If you are looking to spend time at the coast in a beach front hotel that is clean and comfortable then Westshore fits the bill. We would definitely stay here again. You can't beat the value and the location.

Made reservations for two nights, they only gave us one when we showed up! Good luck proving anything since a reservation is the owner writing your name in pencil in a book! The rooms are old and outdated with no screens on the windows. The view is great, but couldn't been seen out of our room because the windows hadn't been washed in who knows how long! They are highly unorganized! I absolutely will not be staying here again!

My Boyfriend and I stayed here a couple weekends ago for a night and really enjoyed our stay. We had a bottom floor room so we had a patio. I called before hand and asked if they had patio furniture. I was told they had charis on the patio. My boyfriend and I really liked the idea of spending dinner on the patio watching the sunset so we stopped at the goodwill and bought a cheap table. It was perfect. My only suggestion to the motel would be to put tables on the patio's along with the chairs. It was perfect being able to make our own meal with the Kitchen in the room and then sit on the patio eating our home cooked meal. It really made the weekend. We also really enjoyed the beach access. Just one flight of stairs then your standing on the sand. We made a fire on the beach and then when we were done on the beach, we made a fire in the fireplace in our room and continued to enjoy the fire! It was such a relaxing stay. Everyone there was very friendly too! I am definatly coming back and i plan on bringing more people next time to share this nice getaway with!!

We have stayed at the Westshore for a number of years. Believe me in all those years I have not seen a bed bug in the rooms. The rooms are very clean and staff is wonderful. I have seen pushy rude guests who want to check in early, even before check out time and those who want to bargain about price. As I listen to them I am wondering if they bargain prices at a grocery store or in the gas line. NOT! Some people are just complainers and those people need to stay home. I go to enjoy the beach not to moan and complain about everything and try to get something for nothing and then trash the room. We love the Westshore and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Beautiful view, relaxing and just plain enjoyable.
