We needed a pet friendly room, and it seems as though options are limited in Lincoln City, at least for a reasonable price. The check-in process was lengthy. All the oceanfront rooms were under renovation. Suspiciously, they said it was due to "storm damage", but December had been gorgeous for Oregon, up until the night of our stay. We had a view of the adjoining property's parking lot. Bleck. The flooring looked recently updated, but the choice was cheap and the bedspreads are ancient and ugly. No ambiance whatsoever. And there were weird stains on the ceiling -- not like leaks, but perhaps leaks that had been poorly covered with paint. The first storm of the season blew in the night of our stay. The wind howled and literally blew one of our windows open. All night, it sounded like the roof might blow off. You could also hear the rattling of all the construction materials they had stored in the parking lot. (These materials also blocked several of the parking spaces). Around 8am, the construction workers arrived, started clanging and banging. No way to sleep. We took a walk on the beach in the morning. The stairway down has to have 100 stairs. Not an easy feat to climb back up. My husband hit the free breakfast offered. It must have been pretty poor for him to return with only a banana. My husband can eat and will eat, almost anything. If you need lodging in Lincoln City, I have to believe anything else would beat this place.
Room Tip: Maybe the oceanview rooms (especially after repair) will be worth the money, but don't stay here...

This guest stayed in an economy non-view room. These rooms are simple, and clean, and offered at a reasonable price. We have many different room types, from economy to luxury, with pet friendly options in most categories.
The storm damage occurred in December of 2011. We were hit with a tornado that took the roof off the ocean front section of our North Building. I am truly sorry that this guest was disturbed by the construction, however, we do inform guests who stay in the North Building of the construction process. CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION: FEBRUARY 2012.
Our complimentary Continental breakfast consists of: muffins, bagels, English muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice.
