Very good continental breakfast, reasonably priced rooms that are exceptionally clean and smiling, friendly service. Claudia, at the Front Desk is especially helpful and personable. Although close to the main drag in town, there was no noticeable traffic noise. Next time in the area, my Lady and I will definitely make this motel our first choice.

On a motorcycle ride, Lakeview was my target after many miles riding. This Best Western has rooms that are clean, bed was nice, nothing really to complain about other than the front desk person. Sort of strange experience, I arrived and she "processed" me without ever looking at me. Sign here, sign here, here is your key, breakfast from 6-9am, etc. Left me with a strange feeling that continued with me as I wandered into town for some dinner.

I heard that this place has been very busy with a new gas pipeline being built through town, but these guys need to have a better front desk experience since first impressions begin from the moment you check in.

I have been staying here while working in Lakeview on and off through the fall. The people have always been very accommodating, especially Sherrie at the front desk. They've been great about getting new flat screen tvs, letting us grill out when it was warmer, looking after our cars, etc. The internet is a little spotty from time to time and the breakfast needs to be better, especially the coffee. But all the rooms have coffee makers in them anyhow. Rooms towards the road are load due to truck noise, ask for one on the west side of the building. The rooms have temperpedic beds and feel amazing after a hard day on the road or working. All in all a great small town best western. Several large steps above the other options in town.

If you have to stay in Lakeview, this is about the "Best" the town has to offer.
The room and bath were clean, not the best area, the carpet needs to be replaced, forget the free breakfast and go to the little Dinner Bell Diner-- awesome food, everything is home made, bread, pies, the best Chicken Fried Steak- large servings and our server Brian was very nice!! The Coconut cream pie was very, very good. The diner was the best part of this stay!!
