My husband and I spent the weekend in Lake Oswego, Oregon, attending our dear friends daughter's wedding. The out of towners were invited to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn near my friend's house. Everyone at the hotel could not have been nicer and more inviting. It was a fantastic price which included a hot buffet breakfast -- with eggs made to order. Once again, the wait staff couldn't do enough to make your breakfast enjoyable. The rooms were very well appointed, and the bed was so comfortable, it was difficult to get up in the morning. I don't know if the Hilton Garden inn in Lake Oswego is a destination property, but I would highly recommend it if you're going to be in the area. I want to thank all the wonderful staff at this hotel for making our weekend so pleasant!

We stayed here on a two week business trip. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable and the bed has a firm/soft switch for the matress each side, the breakfasts were enough to fill you up for the day and the staff were absolutely brilliant. My husband was working so I was on my own everyday. The reception staff helped me plan days out and enjoyed checking out my purchases when I go back each day. They run a shuttle service to many places including the transit centre, from which you could get into Portland and the surrounding areas for $5 a day using buses trains and trams. There is a cheap laundrette at the hotel and you had a microwave and fridge in the room. There are restaurants nearby including Applebees. There is a small gym and pool at the hotel but no changing rooms although you can use the public restroom close by. Everyone was so friendly. We will certainly be booking there again.

As a frequent guest of this HGI (travel for work), there are several things that keep me coming back. The rooms are the usual well-equipped and clean HGI standard, love that microwave and mini fridge, with the adjustable mattresses for ultimate sleep comfort. It is typically very quiet at night, I think most of us are business travelers. The exercise and pool areas are small but adequate. The staff are wonderful, very friendly, and the breakfasts in the "restaurant" are generally good. What makes this perfect for anyone with business in or near Lake Oswego is the location. Easy access to I-5 and several good restaurants within walking distance (including a Starbucks for those who need their fix) make this my favorite place to stay in L.O.

South of downtown Portland, easy access to all points. Airport about 20 miles, Beaverton about 4 miles. Clean, nice staff, indoor pool. I asked for a first floor room with no problem. Nice area of Lake Oswego, many restaurants within walking distance.
This is my second stay during the last 5 months. I will be staying again next trip. Great AAA rate. Least expensive Hilton family hotel in the area I could find.
