Spent the night at the Super 8 LaGrande en route to a backpacking trip in the Wallowa Mountains.
Four guys rented 2 2-queen bed rooms. Reasonable price, beds comfortable after 6 hours driving. Rooms seemed clean.
One traveller checked out the dry-cereal-and-milk breakfast, so we hiked across the parking lot to McDonalds for a bit more to stick to our ribs.
It seems like the building had been added-on to at some point. There is an odd 3-story section (lower floor rooms there look out at parked vehicle bumpers), and doors between it and the rest of the motel with "not an exit" signs -- which doors you need to go through to get to the middle-of-motel rooms. Confusing, even to architect/engineer types.
We were given rooms across the hall from each other, but one room at least seemed to connect to the room next to it. That would have been handier if we had known.
