We just stayed overnight here for the Klamath Cruise and were disappointed in the stay. If NOTHING else is available it is a fairly clean place, for the most part, as far as hotels go.

Bed was not comfortable, the pool/jacuzzi was not open (even though this was the end of June), TV had no sleep timer, heavy black mold under the shower mat but the shower itself appeared clean. Frig never got cold enough for the sodas so I was glad I had finished the yogurt before arriving. The most concern we had was the EXPOSED rusty carpet strip at the bathroom entry! This is dangerous for anyone and was easy to step on if one did not think to look down - especially in the middle of the night! The management did not have another room but did offer to put a couple of bath mats over to 'cushion' the nails. The strip was fully exposed in the middle 10 inches of the doorway and then some so housekeeping had to have known about this.

The complimentary breakfast is NOT healthy and is only a snack at best... honey buns, coffee cake, muffins with Apple, orange juices Tea and coffee the only options for drink. We only saw the drinks and some cookies with frosting when we were there. Don't count on this for any value. We would easily pay $5 - 10 more (we paid $49/night for 1 Queen) for a much better experience, breakfast, room maintenance/condition.

The hotel is located directly off the main road, so I heard traffic noise all night. Additionally, I heard the guests in the adjacent rooms.

The TV remote was so gross, I didn't want to touch it.

The restaurant choices in the area aren't very good. Next time, I'll probably choose a different city, and definitely a different hotel.

When our car broke down in Klamath Falls, we ended up staying here at this hotel at the north edge of town. What friendly, helpful people are running it! They recommended a garage, let our kids play in the pool all morning, and welcomed us to stay on after the check-out time the next day without charging extra when my husband wasn't back from the garage yet. The room was clean, completely odor free, fairly large and handsomely furnished, including a microwave and fridge and a small nook with a table and three chairs for breakfasting in -- or playing cards in while waiting for the car to get fixed.

The price of this motel is fair although the accomodations are outdated. One concern was the big flys I stayed here for 6 nights and killed 5 big flys. Also, extremely noisy with the interstate so close and my room was next to the office and we woke up many nights to what sounded like showers and jack hammers. The motel was a one story building although we heard noises from the roof at night we thought maybe the building was settling but the noise at night was extremely disturbing. I travel for business quite frequently and very rarely stay in motels prefering to stay in hotels. The Klamath Falls area lodging is limited with a big fair in the area limiting my choices for accommodations so maybe I am unfamiliar with motel accommodations. Our room was not cleaned daily and when we asked for a late check out the owner acted like I was asking for a free night at the motel. He would only extend it by one hour although I stayed 6 nights and from what I have seen are really the only guests at the motel. One day when we went up to ask for clean towels his wife said we would have to come back because he was on a long distance phone call with India. I will never be returning to this motel again or this brand of motel again for that matter.
