On Dec. 18 th I drove to K-Falls to pick up 4 kids & grandma at AMTRAK. The train was scheduled to arrive at 8 am; it never got there till 2pm. I got really sick the night before and had no inclination to leave the room early , nor was I too interested in paying for another night; it was a a cold K-Falls day. I called the desk to see what arrangements could be made; no one was there but the maid said I could stay. I was and I am very thankful for that gesture. As it worked out We all stayed an extra night so from the Motel's perspective their kindness paid off. I noticed that their breakfast "buffet" looked better and more varied than some I have seen, though I sick as dog could eat absolutely nothing.
What I noticed the most was that the carpets were pretty dirty; a feature that under normal circumstances would have precluded the place on acct. of the "wife" The other thing that bothered me was that the internet password was " jesus christ" ! I resent anyone who imposes religion on me in any shape or from; in this case though it would appear they were sincere christian, which most people are not(in my opinion)
So would I stay there again, given the need? The answer is yes! And my sincere thanks to them for letting me stay. ON THE OTHER HAND. This place is one of those few motels that had so many rules and regulations posted it could make you sick. Had I seen them before I checked in I would not have stayed.
