“Excellent place to stay if you're picking someone up from the train”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

On Dec. 18 th I drove to K-Falls to pick up 4 kids & grandma at AMTRAK. The train was scheduled to arrive at 8 am; it never got there till 2pm. I got really sick the night before and had no inclination to leave the room early , nor was I too interested in paying for another night; it was a a cold K-Falls day. I called the desk to see what arrangements could be made; no one was there but the maid said I could stay. I was and I am very thankful for that gesture. As it worked out We all stayed an extra night so from the Motel's perspective their kindness paid off. I noticed that their breakfast "buffet" looked better and more varied than some I have seen, though I sick as dog could eat absolutely nothing.
What I noticed the most was that the carpets were pretty dirty; a feature that under normal circumstances would have precluded the place on acct. of the "wife" The other thing that bothered me was that the internet password was " jesus christ" ! I resent anyone who imposes religion on me in any shape or from; in this case though it would appear they were sincere christian, which most people are not(in my opinion)

So would I stay there again, given the need? The answer is yes! And my sincere thanks to them for letting me stay. ON THE OTHER HAND. This place is one of those few motels that had so many rules and regulations posted it could make you sick. Had I seen them before I checked in I would not have stayed.

Room Tip: Don't get tucket away in the corner in the rear

“For the price---hard to beat anywhere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

Stayed here for one night only en route from Crater Lake to Lassen Volcanic NP. The motel is located in the downtown area of Klamath Falls, which has little to offer. However, the motel room was clean, comfortable and more spacious than we expected for a $58 room. The air conditioner was abit noisy, but we slept very well on our queen bed. A bonus was that a short walk across the parking lot was a friendly and interesting restaurant, called the Creamery (it's a former dairy bar). The Creamery is the brewpub for the Klamath Basin Brewing Company; we found their beer offerings to be cold and tasty. And the food was plentiful and delicious! Also a real bargain.

If staying in Klamath Falls, it would be very hard to beat the Maverick Motel for the price.

This place was a delight - the service was excellent, the room was clean and no noise at all. We had good Wifi, Mocrowave, Tv and fridge. Want more? Well at their price we were delighted. Definitely a top notch budget hotel.

Room Tip: We had a room on the ground floor overlooking the park at the back and had no problems with noise at...

“Clean and comfortable and a unbeatable rate - what more do you want!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2011

Spotless renovated room - very clean - great water pressure in bath/shower and a surprise upon arrival - first time in a long time when we have had a complimentary basket of bottled water, popcorn and snacks in the room.
It is in the middle of the town and we could hear the train in the night but for the rate we got that is quite alright. There is a washing machine and dryer. Note there is no coffee maker in the room but you can make instant hot drinkls anytime and there is brewed coffee for breakfast which is served from 0600 to 0930 - ok there is only instant flavored oatmeal packets and three types of sweet rolls, orange or apple juice but it was adequate to start our motors!

Room Tip: upstairs at back of property seems to be the quietest
