“How can you go wrong???”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 April 2006

The rooms with two beds are a "bit" cramped, but not uncomfortable. They are clean, and the beds are comfortable. To be honest, we weren't there to throw a party, we needed showers, tv, and snooze time.

The gentleman behind the counter was professional, courteous and helpful. It was a decent place to stay and to top it off, REASONABLY PRICED!!!!

We would definitely stay again.

“Great Budget Choice”

This is not a fancy hotel, but if you just need a night to crash this place is great!

Someone else complained about 'strange people' hanging around. No big deal, just some migrant workers who are staying temporaily at the hotel. Harmless, but some people are afraid of their own shadows.

And after a long day traveling, the shower and hot water in this place were the absolute best.

Dinner at Antonio's Italian down the street was excellent!

“We left after staying only 2 hours.”

I was traveling with two 11 year old boys and was desperate to find a room at last minute. I was able to book one of the last rooms at this hotel, but when I drove to the room, I became quite concerned for my safety as a female and for my two boys. We placed our belongings in the room and walked a block away for dinner. When we walked back to the room, a few "unsavory" characters were walking around the vicinity of our room. I contacted the Shilo Inn and was told that I would be charged $200.00 for their last room---I took it because my other option would have been to sleep in our vehicle. I informed the manager of this, but he "never heard of anything bad happening " around his hotel. He kept my money instead. The room was old, worn, but clean.

“Infested with scabies mites!”

I stayed at the Econolodge in mid-June, 2005 for four nights, and picked up a bad case of scabies.

Now, six weeks later, and after two treatments with Elimite, I'm finally through the worst of it.

Avoid this place at all costs!

“Good place on a budget”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2005

We were not sure what to expect because of the price. But to our surprise, the place turned out to be good. The room was clean and the receptionist was very helpful. Ofcourse the room was small and didn't have shampoo. But at $40, it was good for a nights stay.
