This property exceeded my expectations from the moment that I checked in. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, with a stunning view of the Columbia River. It nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. I ate in the lounge. The food was excellent and very reasonable in price. The atmosphere is terrific! I highly recommend this hotel for both service and value.

Hood River is a magical place and if you are going to visit there, you want to stay somewhere close to town and affordable. I can honestly say that this has to be one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at this price point.

The location is beautiful. Nestled along the Columbia river, waking up to breakfast on the deck was spectacular. The food was great and can serve everyone from vegans to the meat-and-potatoes folks.

The pool and hot tub area is new, modern, and above all else very clean. Ultimately, what makes or breaks a hotel experience for me is the level of service. This particular Best Western delivered the customer experience in spades! For the money we didn't expect much, but the staff here really made us feel welcome without going out of their way to do so. It was honest and pleasant, no mater how silly our requests or questions may have seemed.

Ultimately, I highly recommend the Hood River Inn to anyone visiting the area!

So we did and we are so happy as it is a very, very nice place. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. There was a huge expanse of water outside the window! There were choppy, white waves and a flock of little ducks floating up and down to greet us. So cheerful! The room was warm and cosy and I agree with the other reviewers, the bedding is super comfortable.

The room was also very clean and beautifully prepared.

The dinner, pork chops, huge, juicy and very delicious. Breakfast, oatmeal with pears for myself and ham, eggs and potatoes for my husband. The breakfasts were included in the price of the room and were both excellent. That is a lovely dining room by the river and the staff are just top notch, professional and charming.

This place makes a wonderful escape; just wished we could have stayed longer.

I have stayed twice at the Best Western Hood River Inn. Each year, the room had a lovely view of the river. I look forward to the delicious oatmeal with poached pears served at breakfast. With free breakfast, discounted lift tickets, and an easy drive to the slopes, the value can not be beat. Great hotel for large groups!
