The Comfort Suites Hood River turned out to be a great hotel. Nice spacious clean rooms with modern high quality furniture. No great views, but comfortable beds, great pillows, plush sofa, and a really cool rolling desk. The bathroom itself was tiny, not much room for two people, but the shower and bathtub were average sized.


WiFi was a good speed, no hiccups, no connection issues, good coverage throughout the property.

The thing that impressed us the most about this hotel was the customer service. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. We dealt with the swing shift and the night shift front desk agents who were both very helpful. We had forgotten our toiletry bag and had mentioned this to the front desk. They informed us that the hotel provides complimentary toiletry items for folks who ask. What a nice surprise! The agent provided us with toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, deodorant, and even a handy little sewing kit! So helpful!

Nice place to stay in Hood River, really comfortable beds. Our check in person was super friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here again.

Having stayed at many Comfort Suites this one was exactly what I expected. Overall Ok property with plenty of conveniences close by. Only problem was the door had a poor fit and you could see through the door jam. This was a problem if you wanted to have the windowes open. Due to the constant wind in Hood River this made the door rattle constanlty.

Not as updated as the new holiday inn express we have found in several spots, but it was well priced and our check-in agent was helpful. Good breakfast (FREE).
