As others have said, this is a very clean comfortable place. Small refrigerator and microwave. No breakfast, but do give you a coupon for the next door Apple Peddler (which by the way needs to hire some waitresses). Pool and hot tub are unusual waterfall arrangement so the family has stayed there with me and they like it. Friendly staff; good choice for the area.
Also: food try the Country Cafe down the street very good; but stay away from Fast Eddies truck stop. Some of the worst food and service I have ever had.

This BW is well laid out and very comfortable. A limited breakfast at the next door Apple Peddler restaurant is included. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms classic, clean and roomy BW standard. Fridge and Microwave are in each room. The pool is indoors so available all year.

Burns/Hines is the largest real town near the Malheur Refuge and Steens Mts. There is also a 9 hole golf course across the street and a minimal Indian casino 3 miles away. For visitors to the Malheur refuge and those passing through this is the place to stay.

The Best Western Motel in Hines/Burns is a newer facility and is easily the best option for a stay in the area. It is spotless in an out, and of course has all the standard room amenities of a Best Western affiliate. The front desk is manned by competent, efficient, and helpful friendly staff. Our room with a comfortable king bed, free in-room Internet LAN, fridge, microwave oven, and a safe was very quiet at night. An indoor pool is available for those wanting to cool off in the wet. A paved parking lot provides ample parking, additionally a large gravel lot can accommodate big rigs and cars with trailer in tow. Breakfast is served next door at the Apple Peddler, a 24 hour coffee shop and diner. A gas station is across the street and a supermarket a few blocks away. If in the area look no further, this is the place to spend the night.

We recently stayed at this particular Best Western on the way home- we were just passing through. I was travelling with my 4 yr old son and my 11 yr old daughter. I have to say this is a great family friendly hotel! My kids loved the indoor pool area, and I am sure the adults that were staying there appreciated that while the pool is open 24 hrs for adults, there are special hours for the kids. There is a very large jacuzzi that looked quite enjoyable as well. The staff was very friendly from start to finish and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant right next door, The Apple Peddler was wonderful for both dinner and breakfast, and they are open 24 hours. The hotel gave us vouchers for $ off of breakfast, so the all ready reasonable cost was brought down to almost nothing! I have all ready booked a room there again on our next jaunt through and the kids are thrilled!
