“Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms, great price!!”

We were in Hillsboro for a tournament at the Hillsboro Stadium. We decided to make a long weekend of it and see the Hillsboro/Portland area. The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet. It has free wireless high-speed Internet access and Pet-friendly hotel. Its a perfectly safe area with lots of families and professionals out and about. We got coffee there one morning when we let the kids sleep late. The beds are heavenly, I would love to purchase one. The kitchens had just enough to make a simple meal including, stove, dishes, and a full size fridge - although we ate out mostly. We ended up not spending too much time in the room because we found alot to do on our off time. Room was tidied up nicely and the desk staff was helpful too with directions etc.

This location is in Hillsboro downtown, but you would not know it, its such a nice area. All the high-tech compainies have expansive, landscaped properties. Its close to several Intels, Sun Micro, Genentech, Solar World, FEI and many many more. Again, its close to the stadium. Its also less than 3 mile from 2 great shopping/dining areas: Orenco Station at Cornell or Tanasbourne on 185th. Bottom line, tons of food choices, maybe too many. It is also a quick drive out to the vineyards and golf courses in the countryside along US 26. My husband and son say that Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is not to be missed. You really need a car but the commuter train is a fun way to get into downtown Portland from a max Station near to Econo lodge, for just a few bucks which is worth it just to not have to park!

I stayed here in mid October. Cleanliness is important to me. I found the room to be both clean and in good repair. The bed was also comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful in making sure I had a quiet room. I will definitely return the next time I'm in this area.

“Great Price, Excellent service”

I stayed here when I'm in Hillsboro for business, several times a year. I was pleasantly impressed with the service and comfort of the hotel. I felt right at home the rooms are laid out nicely with everything you could need on an extended stay. The beds are comfortable.
Its right off US 26 and just 30 mins from PDX. The area around it is very nice and there is lots for my family to do when I bring them sometimes. There is a movie theater and several good restaurants all walking distance. Not much farther are several strip malls, grocery stores and the Streets of Tanasbourne. You do not need a car in Hillsboro as the public transportation is flawless.
It is located adjacent to Intel and within close proximity to several other Oregon companies, Econo Lodge - Hillsboro hotel is the perfect place for the business traveler.

One words sums it up "EXCELLENT",
The staff was great, I had left my cell phone charger and they kept for
my next trip back. Housekeeping is great.
I would recommend to anyone who is coming around this area.

“The worst hotel we have ever stayed at!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 July 2011

We stayed at this hotel since we were on a roadtrip from Washington. To begin the Front Desk was literally empty. No one was there to greet us upon arrival for check-in. Went out and then came back in, and the lady showed up and was coughing all over. Asked my husband to fill out of a form, so out dated, no computer software there! We went to the room and it was depriment! I would say it was good for a one night sleep, but not for three or more which is the amount we stayed. Smelled as if it had been closed for quite sometime, mold smell. There was a microwave, fridge, and TV; which I really liked. The mattress was uncomfortable, either too old or too cheap. The parking lot seemed like there was no security so make sure you get there before sundown... The neighborhood didn't looked so friendly, that's why! Would never stay at any of these hotels again! I have banned the franchise from my list! Sorry but it was a pretty dramatic experience. So they say: "You get what you pay for!".
Internet was quite fast and very reliable for online work. Also the AC worked magnificent, but since that doesn't make up for the unconfortable bed and dirty carpet, I still wouldn't stay there again.

Room Tip: Very depriment. Has all the basics as any other hotel.
