We spent the night on our travels to the Oregon Coast and found this newer property to be a great value for the dollar. The rooms are spacious and the beds very nice. They have an indoor pool and hot tub for soaking a tired back. Their breakfast was adequate with choices of waffles, cereals, breads and juices. They ar located right off the freeway with easy access. They are next to the truck stop, which concerned us, but with a room facing the parking lot, we never heard the trucks throughout the night. There is one fast food restaurant next door, other than that you will have to drive into town. The staff was very friendly and very accomodating to our requests.

This is a new three story motel next to a truck stop, located about five miles south of Hermiston near I-84. It has an indoor pool and an exercise room. A rudimentary breakfast with cereal, waffles, toast and juice is offered to guests, as well as free USA Today. Front desk service was friendly but not very accomodating when a friend wanted to change rooms to avoid a smell in his room and get away from the noise of the idling trucks next door. I strongly recommend that you take a room on the side away from the truck parking. Housekeeping in my room was inadequate. The toilet was not cleaned for two days until I complained and the maid never seemed to clean up the coffee pot. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board are provided. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The heater/air conditioner unit is nice and quiet, and the fan turns off when the unit is not running. About 15 cable channels are offered. All in all this motel is not catastrophic but management needs tuning up.

I used to stay there on business but the housekeeping dept leaves a lot to be desired. Beds don't get made, rooms don't get cleaned properly. There is a coffee maker in the room but they don't leave coffee. Not a good deal for the price. Noisy.
