We stayed two nights at the Restful Nest. We were last here in 2005 with our three children and the hostess Carolyn is as wonderful as ever. She remembered our family and showed pictures of our stay in 2005. She has the most amazing homemade berry pies that are served down in her kitchen every evening. The guests sit together and enjoy the company of each of her and each other. There is an upstairs room for reading , playing cards or watching TV and movies. Carolyn served us breakfast outside one morning . We stayed in the blue room that faces the back side of the house. You can hear the newly installed waterfall and pond below at night. The Rogue River is viewed from the front of the house and a very short walk to the river . Be sure to take in a walk by the river to appreciate the beautiful setting and wildlife.Thank you Carolyn for another great visit. We hope to be back sooner. Nancy & Bruce Morro Bay, California

Being B&B owners ourselves we appreciate the effort Carolyn has made to make her place homey, clean and comfortable. The place is immaculate, the food delicious and the hostess friendly and helpful. Resful Nest is in a great location just across from the Rogue River. We stayed in the Garden Room which has a comfy queen bed, air conditioning (which Carolyn so thoughfully had going for us during the hottest summer on record!!) and a private bathroom. Breakfast was served outside in the garden. She gave us a jar of homemade jam on our way out which made me feel even more like we had just visited with a friend or relative. We felt so at home we hated to leave.

Our only regret was that we only had one night to spend there. We will definitely stay there again when we get up that way.
