First of all the entrance to the LQ was a bit difficult to find, due to the one way system of the main street leading to Grants Pass "downtown".
The driveway was pretty steep (so don't try to get up there with a bus or an rv).
We were welcomed by a friendly staff and there was also some free ice tea or lemonade provided in the lobby.
Our suite ("Victorian Suite") was very spacious and clean. The whole suite was furnished - the name says it all - in an old-fashioned style.
There was no flat tv but everything else you needed: micro, fridge, coffee maker, jacuzzi, etc.
The only two negative points were: room was not very quiet (old windows should be replaced, because the room is facing directly to the nearby Interstate) and the bed was comfortable but a bit noisy ("squeaky").
The hotel had a nice indoor pool area. The free breakfast was OK, nothing fancy but the usual stuff and the room rate was quite good.
Overall we had a good experience and we would stay there again in the future!

This hotel is ranked by Tripadvisor as #5 out of 19 in Grant's Pass and is rated as 2 1/2 stars on Priceline. But realize that 2 1/2 stars is the highest rating in this town. We stay in Grant's Pass each year on the way to Palm Springs and thought the La Quinta would be like the Best Western or Holiday Inn where we slept previously. We were wrong! It exceeded our expectations and was better on every count than these other hotels. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and quiet one night stay. And here's the best news: It cost us only $58 on Priceline, including all taxes and fees. The only reason we didn't rate it on Tripadvisor as 5 stars is because is lacks an exercise room. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend you consider it if you're planning on staying in Grant's Pass. The La Quinta management is making the very best of the 2 1/2 star facilities that they have.

Reasonable rates, easy location, competent and friendly staff, nicely appointed rooms. My only complaint is furniture fabric had lots of visible stains, had I wanted to sit in the chairs I would've requested a new room. Bed linens and bathroom clean.

I stayed at this hotel recently for my niece's wedding. It exceeded my expectations.
The room was good, the rate was very reasonable, and the staff was exceptional.
