We showed up the Friday of the New Years Holiday 2012. We were happy with the Excellent pricing for the location and very friendly staff. The room was very clean and inviting. We brought our Golden Retriever which they welcomed warmly. Their breakfast is with extreme variety. Muffins, eggs, bacon, Belgin waffles, fruit, yougart; very complete with an awsome atmosphere to eat in. Flat Screen TV and super fast internet. Never heard any road noise, but that may of had something to do with all the snow surrounding the Hotel. The only downfall was that the staff never addressed the constant kids running through the hallways well past 2 in the AM. I am guessing this needs to fall on the Parents, but unfortuantly, no one seems to want to be responsible for their kids anymore. So not holding the Hotel responsible for this one.
Truthfully, we have always loved Best Western, and they have never let us down. Looking forward to making this our yearly winter haunt. Thank you Mt Hood Inn :-)

4 of us stayed here. We shared a room with 2 queen beds. There was plenty of room for 4 people skiing at Timberline. Each room had a wet bar and a refrigerator, coffee pot. The Breakfast was included in the price of the room. It was almost a buffet. Everything from hot oatmeal to egg mcmuffins and fresh fruit, waffles etc. The staff was extremely friendly like stopping in to see a friend. There is a wood burning fireplace in the common great hall nice to sit by while watching it snow through the large windows.

My Wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night over Thanksgiving weekend.

Overall I would say this is an excellent hotel with a fair price for the level of service and comfort. The best part for us is that we wanted a spa tub room that was pet friendly. So many hotels that have spa tubs and are "pet friendly" do not let you have a dog in the spa rooms. This one does, that made us very happy! There is a cozy fireplace in the lobby and a bunch of board games to choose from. The location is also outstanding, you can pretty much walk anywhere in government camp (bout a 5 -10 min walk) or run across the highway to skibowl. We will surely be back!

The only downside for me is when your neighbors spa tub is one there is a faint hum but if you turn the TV on you can't hear it and that the insulation between the floors seems to be lacking slightly (heard some heavy footfalls occasionally).

I stayed at this hotel in November 2011. It is nicely decorated, big fire place in the lobby, clean rooms and staff is freindly. The work out room has 3 cardio machines and a strength training device. Location is close to Mt. Hood village and Timberline Ski area. I have nothing negative to say about this nice little hotel.
